Nadeem Saifi

Hello and welcome. I’m Nadeem Saifi — an advocate by profession, a courtroom observer by instinct, and a curious mind trying to make sense of law, life, and the spaces in between.

I was born in Meerut and raised in Delhi. Schooled here in Delhi and schooled by life here, too. While Delhi’s courts are my workplace, I’ve always been more drawn to quiet landscapes than to concrete skylines, to nature’s rhythm more than the city’s noise. Maybe that’s why I find comfort in stories, real ones, told from real places like courtrooms, corridors, and client meetings.

My days are often spent navigating the buzzing District Courts of Delhi, walking the solemn, echoing corridors of the Delhi High Court, and occasionally finding myself before the grandeur of the Supreme Court of India. These spaces are not just buildings to me, they are theatres of truth, conflict, and sometimes, quiet humour. This website is my way of documenting that world, not through judgments, but through stories.

You’ll find me writing about moments from courtrooms, experiences with clients, and sometimes those small, absurd, or deeply human episodes that unfold unexpectedly in the middle of legal proceedings. Some stories will make you laugh, some might make you think. I’m not a trained writer, but I’m willing to try, and I’ll do my best to present the world I live in with honesty and heart.

This space is not about victories or verdicts. It’s about people, places, and the poetry of the legal world that rarely gets seen. The worn-out bench in a court hallway. A judge’s subtle smile. The long wait before a bail order. Or the chai break that becomes a confessional. I’m here to write about those.
